1)      Nagaram
In the Chola dynasty, Nagaram was a term used to refer to an association of traders. Brahmanas were granted land called brahmadeya, making them landlords. They formed sabha or assembly. Along with them, Nagarams performed administrative functions in the town.
2)      Kitab-ul-Hind
Kitab-ul-Hind is an Arabic work. It was written by the scholar Al-Biruni. Sultan Mahmud appointed him to write an account of the subcontinent.
3)      Chahamana Ruler
The Chahamanas are also known as the Chauhans. Simharaja founded the Chahamanas dynasty. The famous ruler of the Chahamana dynasty was Prithviraj III ( 1162-1192). He defeated the Afghan ruler named Sultan Muhammad Ghori in 1191.
4)      Afghan ruler
Muhammed Ghori was an Afghan ruler. The Chahamanas King Prithviraj III defeated him in 1191. But, the next year, he defeated Prithviraj III in 1192.
