Detailed Solution

1) Nation-state:
A nation-state is a state with people having shared a common identity and shared history. Ernst Renan highlighted this idea of a nation in his speech at the University of Sorbonne in 1882. According to him, a nation was formed by a common language, race, religion or territory.
2) Absolutist:
An absolutist represents a government or system that has no restraints on the powers exercised. It is also referred to as a monarchial government or a dictatorial government that was centralised, militarised and often politically repressed.
3) Utopian:
A utopian society is an ideal society which is a place of perfect perfection. The laws, social conditions, and political stability are exceptional and work in a smooth space. This society also had a book published by an English philosopher, Thomas More.
4) Zollverein:
It was a union formed in 1834 by Prussia and was joined by most German states. The main aim of this union was to bind the Germans to a nation economically. The union abolished the tariff barriers imposed and brought down the number of currencies from thirty to only two.
5) Balkans:
It was a cluster of present-day countries ruled by the Ottoman Empire, and the residing people came to be known as the slavs. These Balkan states included many ethnic groups and started emerging in the 18th and 19th centuries.
