2) Dinshaw Petit and Jamsetjee Nusserwanjee:
Parsis in Bombay, who went on to build enormous industrial empires in India, like Dinshaw Petit and Jamsetjee Nusserwanjee Tata, made their initial fortunes by shipping raw cotton to England and China.
3) Seth Hukumchand:
A Marwari trader named Seth Hukumchand established the first jute mill in India in Calcutta in 1917 and engaged in trade with China.
4) Trafficking opium by British:
The British started transporting tea from China to England and trafficking opium to China from India.
