3)      Rowlatt Act:
The Imperial Legislative Council passed the Rowlatt Act in 1919. It granted the government broad authority to hinder political activity and permitted the two-year incarceration of Indian political detainees without charge or trial.
4)      Dandi March:
Gandhi marched from the Sabarmati ashram to the town of Dandi. He reached Dandi on April 6, 1930, and violated the salt law by making salt.
