Detailed Solution

1)      Martin Luther: Martin Luther wrote 95 theses in which he condemned numerous Roman Catholic norms and practices. It inspired a lot of people, which caused a split in the church and the start of the Protestant Reformation.
2)      Inquisition: Menocchio was hauled up twice and executed as a result of his reinterpretation of the Bible's message and formulation of a view of God and creation that infuriated the Roman Catholic Church when the Roman Church started its inquisition, a former Roman Catholic court for identifying and punishing heretics.
3)      Gangadhar Bhattacharya: Several newspapers and journals went into publication in the late 18th century.  The weekly Bengal gazette was published by Gangadhar Bhattacharya.
4)      Rammohan Roy: To reach a larger audience, the concepts were printed in the typical, daily language that regular people speak at home. The Hindu orthodoxy hired the Samachar Chandrika to counter the views of Rammohan Roy when he wrote the Sambad Kaumudi.
5)      Tulsidas: The Ramcharitmanas Tulsidas, a 16th-century work, was first printed in Kolkata in 1810.
