Detailed Solution

1)      Unirrigated land: On the unirrigated lands like desert areas in Rajasthan, the government should construct canals so that it becomes cultivable land because the population of India is very high as compared to the availability of food grains.
2)      Low crop price: Grains like wheat and paddy are procured by the government undertaking FCI as per the state APMC act. In this act, the government takes the grains from the farmers at MSP(minimum support price) to benefit them.
3)      Debt burden: Due to higher interest rates on the loans, small farmers and poor people are getting more of the debt burden. To solve this problem, the government should provide credit with low-interest rates.
4)      No job in the off-season: Agro-based industries should be set up in rural areas so that it provides job opportunities in the rural area. It will help the workers who do not have work in the off-season.
5)      Compelled to sell their grains to local traders soon after harvest: Mostly for the benefit of farmers, these societies function to market the produce profitably at the best possible prices, increase the bargaining strength of the farmers and protect them from the trials of individual selling and market exploitation.
