1)      Champaran: Gandhi went to Champaran in Bihar in 1917 to inspire the peasants to fight against the oppressive plantation system.
2)      Kheda: He organised a Satyagraha Movement in 1917 to support the Gujarati Kheda peasants. Due to agricultural failure and a plague pandemic, these peasants were highly concerned. They wanted a reduction in the income collected because they could not pay it.
3)      Ahmedabad: In 1918, he travelled to Ahmedabad to coordinate the Satyagraha movement among cotton mill workers.
4)      Dandi: In 1930, Gandhi organised Dandi March or the Salt Satyagraha from his ashram in Sabarmati to the coastal town of Dandi. However, on April 6, Gandhi broke the salt law by manufacturing salt by boiling seawater in Dandi.
