        Sieving- Rice and salt can be separated by the process of sieving i.e. by taking a sieve having a larger size hole than that of salt and smaller holes than rice. Then, the particles of salt can easily pass through those holes and rice would remain in the sieve itself.
        Separating funnel- Water and petrol can be separated by a separating funnel as it is a method of separation to separate liquid-liquid mixtures.
        Winnowing- Sand and husks can be separated by winnowing, in winnowing the lighter particles are blown away with the help of air.
