Paiyampalli- In Tamil Nadu, India's Tirupattur district, there is a village called Paiyampalli. It is situated 8 kilometres west of Natrampalli and 5 km east of Barugur. It is well known for the Neolithic and Megalithic period remains found in an excavation site nearby. In addition, the remnants of Black gram, millet, cattle, sheep, and pigs were discovered in Paiyampalli.
Burzahom- Transitions in human habitation patterns from the Neolithic Period to the Megalithic Period to the early Historic Period are revealed at the Neolithic Site of Burzahom in the region of Srinagar, India. The site's remnants contained proof of the cultivation of wheat, barley, and lentils. They also discovered numerous animal bones, including pigs, cattle, goats, and deer.
Koldihwa- In India's Uttar Pradesh, there is an ancient site called Koldihwa. It is located close to the village of Devghat in the Belan River lowlands. Archaeologists discovered some fragments of animal bones and Rice items in Koldihwa. 1972 to 1976 saw the excavation of the site. Carbon analysis indicates that rice and pottery remnants date to 7000 BCE.
