Detailed Solution

A huge concern of democratic societies is the interactions of social divisions with politics; how political parties and the government deal with social divisions will decide if the social division will deepen. Some political parties tend to use social divisions as tokens to win elections. Such manipulations will lead to political divisions. Some people prefer that social divisions shouldn’t be expressed in politics. However, when politics of social divisions play out, the political leaders must speak for a community with consideration for the other districts. The violent political conflict between Nationalists and Unionists in Northern England ended only with a peace treaty signed by the UK government. However, social divisions and conflicts in Yugoslavia resulted in political disintegration. So many of the political outcomes of social divisions emerge from government interferences. The government has to carefully choose when to push for integration and when not to.
