The objective of the Liberals of the 19th century was that they wanted tolerance of religious identity. When Russia was under the rule of an aristocratic monarch Tsar Nicholas II, the situation in Russia was not good. On 17 October 1905, a union of Liberals was established with all their potential. They were known as Octobrists. The main objectives of these Liberals were that they wanted to make such a nation which tolerated all religions. They opposed the King's uncontrolled rule based on hereditary and dynastic rule. They tried to save the rights of individuals.
