Detailed Solution

Microliths are the stone tools of the middle stone age, which is also called the Mesolithic period. A microlith is a tiny stone tool that is commonly constructed of chert or flint. It is normally around a centimetre long and half a centimetre wide. People created them in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia between 35,000 and 3,000 years ago. The microliths were used to make arrowheads and spear points. The microliths are sufficiently processed for it to be possible to tell them apart from workshop waste or accidents.
