Minhaj-i-Siraj was an important chronicler from the Delhi Sultanate period. His work Tabaqat-i-Nasiri is a popular source from the period. Tabaqat-i-Nasiri gives details of the historical occurrences in the Islamic world from the time of Adam to the year 1260 AD. This work was compiled for the slave dynasty ruler Sultan Nasir ud din Mahmud and was written in Persian.
