Minimum required haemoglobin

The minimum required haemoglobin  is 12gm/dl. The required haemoglobin differs in males and females. Haemoglobin levels are similar in male and female infants but they rise with the growth of the child. This gender-related difference in haemoglobin levels starts during adolescence. Low haemoglobin causes a variety of health issues including anemia and sometimes cancer. People with low haemoglobin experience fatigue and tiredness all the time.
