If OA = 1, then atomic number of the element showing frequency of 400 Hz is

$\sqrt{\mathrm{v}}=\mathrm{a}\left(\mathrm{Z}-\mathrm{b}\right)=\mathrm{aZ}-\mathrm{ab}$

Thus, graph is a straight line

At $\sqrt{\mathrm{v}}=0, \mathrm{aZ}=\mathrm{b}=\mathrm{OA}=1$

                                    Z = b = OA =1

Thus, b = 1 and at Z = 0, $\sqrt{\mathrm{v}}=-\mathrm{ab}$

                                      Slope = a = tan 45° = 1

Thus, 

if v = 400 Hz, then

                                      $\sqrt{400}=Z-1$

                                           20 = Z - 1

                                         Z = 21
