Detailed Solution

Most animals are tree dwellers in a tropical rainforest. These rainforests have stratified vegetation with different types of herbs, shrubs and trees because of the ample of sunlight and rains in this region. The forest floor is more damp and is covered by vegetation forcing most of animals to be arboreal.

The conditions in rest of the habitats mentioned are not ideal for tree dwellers. In temperate deciduous forest, leaves fall off during autumn. Coniferous forest, vegetation composed primarily of cone-bearing needle-leaved or scale-leaved evergreen trees, found in areas that have long winters and moderate to high annual precipitation. Acacias, palms, euphorbias and cacti are the main plants found in Thorn woodland.
