Detailed Solution

Mughal campaigns continued in the Deccan under Shah Jahan.
Akbar started the military campaign against various dynasties, including the Suris, Malwa, Gondwana, and Chittor. Between the years 1579 and 1605, campaigns in the Deccan were also started by Akbar. He annexed Berar, Khandesh, and other parts of Ahmadnagar. Later, Jahangir continued the campaign in various places against Sisodiya, ruler of Mewar, the Sikhs, the Ahoms, and Ahmanagar. Some were less successful. In 1627, Shah Jahan became the emperor of the Mughal empire. He continued the Mughal campaign in the Deccan. He defeated the Afghan noble Khan Jahan Lodi. Campaigns were launched against Ahmednagar. He defeated the Bundelas, and Orchha was captured.
