Detailed Solution

Mulla Abdul Ghafur and Virji Vora were great Indian traders. The large-scale ship company owners, Mulla Abdul Ghafur and Virji Vora, were competition targets from the English, Dutch, and French. Indian traders were to serve as their agents or directly answer to them to control the sea trade using their naval might. Since the English, Dutch, and French, who had access to the weapons, did not have Indian traders during the exportation process before reaching the sea, Mulla Abdul Ghafur and Virji Vora could not compete with them. As a result, whereas Indian dealers saw a drop in market share, European traders increased it. Virji Vora and Mulla Abdul Ghafur finally withdrew from the competition.
