The Wildlife Protection Act was implemented in 1972. The Indian Wildlife Act was enacted in 1972 to protect wild plant and animal species. Under this law, hunting, gathering, and harming animals are strictly prohibited. Collectively the mandatory limitation of harvesting of forest resources. This law protects wild animals, birds, and plant species in the country to ensure environmental safety. Among the alternatives, the law imposes restrictions on observing several animal species.
