Groundwater follows a cycle that creates fresh water. The process of Groundwater starts with Rainfall and snowfall. When rain droplets fall on the surface, the soil soaks that water and gets saturated with rocks to create Groundwater. When the saturation process gets over, the Groundwater moves in a particular direction where gravity allows it and finally falls into streams, ponds, rivers, etc. Now people also use hand pumps to extract Groundwater from the deep surfaces, which causes water scarcity when Groundwater is overused. When Groundwater reaches streams, ponds, and rivers, it evaporates and again goes to the atmosphere, from where the process starts again to follow the cycle.
