Muscle that contracts quickly and fatigues quickly is

Skeletal muscle contains muscle fibres, composed of myofibrils. The rapid contractions in the skeletal muscles occur due to the voluntary signals to the motor neuron which innervates the muscle fibres. There are fast glycolytic muscle fibres which do not contain much myoglobin nor can store much oxygen and hence runs out of its ability to produce ATP. This limited supply of energy leads to quick fatigue due to the accumulation of the lactic acid in the muscles.
