Detailed Solution

Social contract written by  Rousseau.
The presence of intellectuals marks 18th-century European history. In his book, "Social Contract is marked by the presence of intellectuals. In his book "Social Contract," he wrote explicitly regarding his ideas about the people whom he considered the real masters of the state, and the king ruled with their consent. His writings inspired the people of France to revolt against the despotic rule of the king, and they began to agitate for a revolution. His inspiring writing stoked the fire of revolt in common people and made them conscious of their rights. His ideas gave the impetus for revolutionary ideas and helped people critically analyse the rule of their king. He held that all political organisations were tyrannical and hence open to abuse.
