The bird sanctuary marked on the map is Bharatpur. The Bharatpur bird sanctuary in Rajasthan is famous for the numerous migratory birds visiting the region. Starting in the late 19th century as a hunting preserve, it was declared a bird sanctuary in 1956. The sanctuary was named Keoladeo National Park after being declared a national park in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. This national park is seen as pelicans, hawks, eagles, ducks, and several other bird species. It is also an artificial wetland made and managed by man. The reserve protects the region from frequent floods. The tropical deciduous vegetation and the grasslands provide a feeding ground for the cattle.
