Detailed Solution

Himadri is the most continuous of the Himalayas consisting of the lofty peaks. The Himalayan mountain ranges are made of three parallel ranges - the Himadri, Himachal, and the Shiwalik. The Himadri, also known as Greater Himalayas, is the northernmost of the Himalayan ranges. It is the innermost and the most continuous of the Himalayan ranges, maintaining its west to east continuity.  It extends from the Nanga Parbat in the west with an elevation of 8126 metres to the Namcha Barwa in the east with a 7756 metres elevation. Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Annapurna are some of the highest peaks in the Himadri range with over 8000 metres in height. With several small and large glaciers like Gangotri and Yamunotri, the ranges are snow-clad all through the year.
