Detailed Solution

The marked site is Ranthambore National Park. A famous tiger reserve in India, Ranthambore National Park, was established in 1955 as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary. Declared a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1973, Ranthambore in Rajasthan was turned into a national park in 1980. Located close to Delhi, the park is a top tourist destination. The vegetation in the park is deciduous and is home to several species like the wild water buffalo, Bengal tiger, wild boar, Indian Flying Fox, golden jackal, and spotted deer. It is famous for its tiger population and has one of the largest banyan trees in India. Poaching and habitat fragmentation has led to a decline in the tiger population.
