Nanda Devi is the peak which is part of the Kumaon Himalayas that is marked on the map. The Kumaon Himalayas include the Nanda Devi peak. The Kumaon Mountains are a portion of the northern Himalayas located 320 kilometres from the Sutlej River and east of the Kali River. The Kumaon Himalayas are in the south and part of the Shiwalik Range, whereas the Greater Himalayas is in the north. The Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is where Nanda Devi Peak is located. The Nanda Devi Peak rises 7,434 meters above sea level.
