Name the three basic tissue systems in the flowering plants. Give the tissue names under each system.

There are three types of tissue system
a) Epidermal tissue system.
b) Ground tissue system.
c) Vascular tissue system.
a) Epidermal tissue system : It contains epidermis, stomata and epidermal appendages.
b) Ground tissue system : It contains cortex, pericycle, pith and medullary rays. These are made up of parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.
c) Vascular tissue system : It contains xylem and phloem.
