Detailed Solution

The Budenovka was a typical Soviet hat which was worn by the soldiers.
The Budenovka cap is a unique hat, part of the prototype of communist military uniforms during the Russian Civil War after the Russian Revolution (1917-1922). Its official name is "broad cloth helmet". Named after the Red Army cavalry commander Semyon Budyonny, it is also known as  "frunzenka" after  Commissar Mikhail Frunze. It is a soft beanie that covers the ears and neck. The original name was bogatyrya - a helmet of forgers - and aimed to inspire the Russian army by connecting them with legendary heroes in Russian folklore.
