  •  Pancreas have two role, primary role of an endocrine function that assists in digestion and an exocrine function that manages blood sugar 
  •  In the upper left tummy, the pancreas is positioned behind the stomach. Other organs are girdled by it, like the small intestine, liver and spleen. 
  • It's spongy, about six to ten elevation long, and has the appearance of a flat pear or a fish extending across the tummy horizontally.

    - It produces digestive authorities, which are composed of potent enzymes.

  • It produces hormones that regulate situations of blood glucose. 
  • These cells are collected in clusters known as Langerhans islands and cover what's going on in the blood. They can also, when demanded, release hormones directly into the blood. 
  • In particular, they smell the rise in blood sugar(glucose) situations and the cells produce hormones, especially insulin, as soon as this happens.
