National Waterway No.2 is between Sadiya and Dhubri. National Waterway 2 (NW-2) is a section of the Brahmaputra River with a length of 891 km between the Bangladesh border near Dhubri and Sadiya in Assam.
The government has designated the following aqueducts as National Aqueducts. The West- Coast Canal in Kerala( Kottapuram- Kollam, Udyogamandal, and Champakkara conduits 205 km)-N.W.No. 3; specific stretches of the Godavari and Krishna gutters; and the Kakinada- Puducherry stretch of conduits. The Ganga swash between Allahabad and Haldia( 1620 km)- NW.No. 1; the Brahmaputra swash between( 1078 km)-N.W.No. 4 • Specific sections of the Brahmani River, the Matai River, the Mahanadi and Brahmani River delta channels, and the East Coast Canal( 588 km)-N.W.No. 5.
