Detailed Solution

The network of routes connecting China and Rome refers to the Silk Route.
The Silk Road, also known as the Silk Road, is an ancient trade route linking China with the West, which carried goods and ideas between the two great civilizations of Rome and China. Silk went west, and wool, gold, and silver went east. The term "silk tracks" indicates the importance of Chinese silk goods going west along this line. Historians have discovered several silk routes, above land and sea, that covered large parts of Asia and connected Asia with Europe and northern Africa. They are known to date from pre-Christian times and flourished until about the fifteenth century. But Chinese pottery went the same way as fabrics and spices from India and Southeast Asia. In return, precious metals like gold and silver flow from Europe to Asia.
