Detailed Solution

(i) Basal body
(ii) Axoneme of flagella
(iii) Centrioles
(iv) Centrosome

All the above structures are eukaryotic. The electron micrograph of the body of cilia or flagella shows the core or axoneme which has a 9+2 arrangement of microtubules. The peripheral microtubules are arranged in pairs (doublets) and a pair of centrally arranged microtubules. The axoneme is covered by a plasma membrane.

While the centrioles are arranged as a pair in an amorphous proteinaceous material, it is known as a centrosome. The centrioles arise from the basal body. They have a cartwheel structure with 9 peripheral microtubules (triplets) and a central proteinaceous hub.
