Detailed Solution

No child below the age of 14 years shall be employed to work in any factory or mines. The government of India took a great step in this direction and brought out the Child Labor( Prohibition and Regulation) Act of 1986 to ensure that no child works in any factories or construction sites. A few years later, the government passed a child labour bill in October 2006 as an amendment to the previous Child Labor Act. This act ensures that no child below 14 years of age is working even as a domestic servant in houses or at Dhabas and restaurants.
