Nutritive tissue in anther is tapetum. The left over nucellus is called perisperm. Endosperm is the nourishment tissue for developing embryo. Nucellus is the central tissue of the ovule where the archesporium differentiates. A cell of the archesporium, the megaspore mother cell, divides meiotically and one of the megaspores forms the embryo sac.
