Detailed Solution

Objects which do not allow light to pass through are called opaque objects.
Transparent: when light meets the transparent materials, almost all of it passes directly through them. Glass is a transparent object. Glass is transparent to all visible light. Instead of being absorbed or reflected, the Photons of visible light travel through glass, making glass transparent.
Translucent: The objects that allow minimal light rays but not all to travel through them are translucent. Since some of the light is obstructed by the object, a faint shadow is formed.
Opaque: Objects which do not allow light to pass through are called Opaque objects.
