Detailed Solution

1)      The classification of resources can be done based on origin, level of development, and stock and distribution. These things can be understood as:
2)      Origin: based on origin, resources are biotic and abiotic. Although both the resources are obtained from the biosphere, the former possesses life (like flora, fauna, fossil fuels, etc.), and the latter does not have any life (like air, water, sunlight, etc.)
3)      Level of development: It can be potential, developed or reserved resources based on development. Potential resources refer to the resources present in a particular area to serve people's needs; created resources refer to the resources that are ready to put in use; reserved resources are known resources but are preserved for the future generation.
4)      Exhaustibility: based on exhaustibility, resources can be renewable and non-renewable. The former is abundant and can be regenerated, while the latter is in limited quantities and needs to be used wisely.
