Detailed Solution

On September 21 1792, France was declared a Republic.
Before becoming a Republican society, the Jacobins planned an insurrection of many angry Parisians due to the food shortage, which resulted in attacking the King on the morning of August 10. Later, the Assembly imprisoned the then King of France and held elections for all men above 21, regardless of their social status. Eventually, on September 21 1792, France was proclaimed a Republic. However, Louis XVI, the King, was sentenced to death by a court on the charge of corruption and executed publicly on January 21 1793, marking the end of monarchy in France.
