One mole of gas X (in container of V L) and two moles of gas Y (in container of V L)enters from the end P and Q of the empty cylinder respectively. The cylinder has the uniform area of cross section, shown as under. The length of the cylinder is 150 centimeters. The gas X intermixes with gas Y initially at A. If the molecular mass of the gases Y & X is 80 u and 20 u respectively then what will be the distance of point A from Q in meters? Temperature remains constant and process of meeting of two gases occurs in very short interval of time.
