One mole of monoatomic gas occupy  two chambers of a cylinder-piston system in which  the piston is free to move and the walls of the cylinder and the piston are made of  insulating material. The initial volumes, pressures and temperatures of the two chambers  are the same P0,V0 and T0 . The chamber in the left is heated internally by some device  resulting in expansion of the gas pushing the piston to the right. The gas in the right  chamber is compressed until the pressure becomes 32 times the initial pressure.
