Detailed Solution

One of the effects of the Non-Cooperation movement was the boycott of foreign goods, and started wearing Khadi.
The Non-Cooperation movement affected Britishers extensively because the lawyers, students, principals, and teachers resigned from their job, students left universities, and lawyers left the courts to protest. The Non-Cooperation campaigns also started boycotting foreign goods and clothes and burnt them in a bonfire in anger for protest. As a result, merchants stopped trading foreign goods, and the import of foreign clothes dropped to half during that time. Consequently, handloom clothes, including Khadi, started to be weaved more by looming with charkha. Moreover, Indians began wearing Khadi and handloom clothes. Political leaders also participated in this protest with high intensity and spread throughout India.
