Miller created similar conditions like that of primitive atmosphere in a laboratory scale, and kept a mixture of CH4,H2,NH3 and water vapour  in spark chamber and the experiment was maintained at  the temperature of 800C. He observed the formation of amino acids like glycine, alanine and aspartic acid but not nitrogenous bases. when starting material was changed and UV radiations were used as energy source, then formation of nitrogenous bases like adenine and other bases  were produced
