Given,
1st type of liquid contain = 20%
2nd type of liquid contain = 35%
Now,
In case of 1st liquid
Amount of water in 10 parts

= 10 \times \frac{20}{100}

= 2 parts

In case of 2nd liquid
Amount of water in 4 parts

= 4 \times \frac{35}{100}

= \frac{7}{5} parts

Total liquid of water

= (2 + \frac{7}{5})

= \frac{17}{5} parts

Total liquid of water

= 10 + 4

= 14 parts

Therefore, % of water

= \frac{\frac{17}{5}}{14} \times 100

\Rightarrow \frac{17}{5} \times \frac{1}{14} \times 100

= \frac{170}{7}

= 24 \frac{2}{7} %
