Detailed Solution

Tetany is caused by hyposecretion of parathyroid hormone. The inability of the neurohypophysial system to produce ADH causes excess urine production, called diabetes insipidus. Overproduction of GH in adults causes acromegaly. The presence of a high amount of sugar in the urine is referred to as glycosuria which is an indicator of the inability of the individual to metabolize/take up sugar caused by oversecretion of glucagon.
