Palmately compound leaves.
(a) Possess bud in the axil of leaflets.
(b) Possess a number of leaflets attached laterally on the rachis.
(c) Have leaflets attached at a common point, i.e,at the tip of petiole.
(d) Are present in neem.

 In palmately compound leaves, 

• axil buds may be found at the base of the whole compound leaf  It is however found in the axil of the whole compound leaf 
• the leaflets are attached at a common point, i.e., at the tip of petiole
• rachis is absent
•  example silk cotton.
