Detailed Solution

Partisan means a person who is strongly committed to a party. The use of the word "partisan" has changed a great deal over the last sixty years. Earlier, an individual was or wasn't referred to as partisan based on their balloting behaviour. Later, the candidates that the UN agency selected to be with bound parties looking at their policy-making came to be called partisans. In India, a partisan type of government is seen. Here, everybody that contests the election is related to their party. All of them represent their parties and abide strictly by the rules of their political affairs. They're also very reluctant towards the ideologies of the opposing parties.
