Detailed Solution

Partisan means a person who is strongly committed to a party.
A partisan is someone who is devoted to their political party. This person strongly supports their party's policies and is unwilling to compromise with opposition parties. Previously, a person was labelled as partisan or nonpartisan based on their voting habits. Later, candidates who chose to join specific parties based on their political beliefs became known as partisans. In India, we have a partisan government. Everyone who runs for office in this country is a member of a political party. They all represent their respective political parties and adhere strictly to their political beliefs. They are also extremely sceptical of the opposing parties' ideologies.
