Pastoral nomads earned their living through grazing cattle and subsistence farming. They moved from one place to another with their cattle in search of pastures, farming and cattle rearing. The movement was seasonal and weather-related and was guided by their flock’s needs. They also raised cattle, camels, goats, sheep, etc., as their herd. These pastoral nomads sold milk, meat, animal skin and wool to earn their livelihood. Some were even involved in trading and transport; others combined it with agriculture. These nomads did not live in one place continually but moved periodically to other sites.
