Detailed Solution

People of Ladakh rear sheep which produce Pashmina wool and pashmina shawls are woven in Kashmir.
Sheep-rearing is another Ladakhi occupation. Herders are known as Change-pass in Ladakh. They look after long shaggy goats and sheep, from which the famous Kashmiri Pashmina shawls are made. Chang-pas live in tents and roam from place to place in search of meadows. The people of Ladakh are eager to engage in trade. Their most profitable product is raw wool. Pashmina shawls are primarily made in Jammu and Kashmir. Pashmina silk sarees are made from fine silks extracted from mountain sheep wool. True Pashmina silk saree can be passed through a small finger ring because the fabric is so subtle and smooth.
