Detailed Solution

Concept: Pericarp is defined as the fruit wall, which develops from the ovary wall. The epicarp, mesocarp, and endocarp are the three main layers that make up the pericarp, which divides an old ovary or natural product. Since the exterior layer of the natural product enveloped the seeds, it is severe in nature. It includes the seeds that should be protected from growing plants. Pericarp shifts from green to red spot development as maturation occurs.
The fruit's tougher skin is shaped by the fruit's outermost layer, called the epicarp. The mesocarp, or middle layer of the pericarp, is situated between the epicarp and endocarp.
The pericarp, which particularly encloses the seed, has an endocarp that is its thickest layer. It might occasionally be rocky, tough and thick, or membranous.
Hence, the answer is ovary wall.
