  •  According to this, only a specific number of collisions between the right reactant particles and the right orientation lead to a detectable or noticeable change; these successful modifications are referred to as successful collisions.

The average kinetic energy of the molecules in a solution rises as the temperature rises, increasing the number of collisions with sufficient energy.
